There is confusion over a viral social media post claiming that Pfizer has recalled a popular glaucoma treatment drug Xalatan 0.005% w/v Eye drops 2.5ml solution over claims of counterfeiting of particular lots in the market.
Below is the Pfizer recall order, as seen on social media, which also says the National Food and Drug Administration and Control agency (NAFDAC) is aware of the recall.
