All India Universities Alumni Association, in collaboration with the High Commission of India in Nigeria, has scheduled a one-day national workshop for Thursday, July 18th, 2019.
According to a statement signed by the association’s National President, Chief Charles Robin Njoku, and the National Publicity Director, Hon. Legborsi Nwidadah, the workshop would be chaired by a former Nigeria High Commissioner to India, Ambassador Ndubuisi Amanku.
The Association said that the event, which theme is “Entrepreneurship: A Panacea to Youth Empowerment in Nigeria and Cultural Diversity of Nigeria and India,” would hold at Rockview Hotel, Wuse II, Abuja by 9 am.
“It is the second time such national workshop is being held and will feature presentation of papers on the topics such as ‘Small and Medium Scale Industries as Panacea for Nigeria’s Unemployment Challenge’, ‘Repositioning Nigeria Through Entrepreneurship Education for National Development and Improving Rice Cultivation in Nigeria: India Experience’, the Association stated.
The Association further disclosed that about fifteen personalities, who have contributed immensely to human capital development and its growth, would be honoured during the workshop.
It stated that the national workshop “is a yearly event that will have three members each from the various chapters of the Association in participation. All members of the National Executive Council, Board of Trustees, Zonal Coordinators and members of the Association will be in attendance.”
The Association called on all chapters’ Presidents and executives to “ensure that no seminars or workshops are organized within the period, as all hands must be on deck and to work hard for the success of the event.”
