It is only an official announcement that stand between Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, and being declared a winner after he beat his former deputy, Ahmad Aliyu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by only 341 votes in Saturday’s governorship polls.
Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 512,002 to defeat Aliyu who polled 511,660 votes.
