President Muhammadu Buhari defeated his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) opponent Atiku Abubakar by winning his polling unit PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, Daura, with a very wide margin.
Buhari scored 186 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar, who got 167 votes in the Polling Unit where Atiku voted in Ajiya Ward in Yola.
Buhari scored 523 votes, to defeat Atiku Abubakar who got only three votes in Buhari’s unit.
