*Ukachukwu charges them to be steadfast, focused

Nearly two weeks after the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) kicked off its national campaigns at the popular Dr Alex Ekwueme Square premises in Awka, Anambra state, the party’s campaign Council for the Anambra South Senatorial zone has been inaugurated.
Performing the task at his Orsumenyi country home in Nnewi South Council of the state, the APGA senatorial candidate for Anambra South zone, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, charged the party officials to remain steadfast, focused and committed.
Ukachukwu, said that time has come for the people of the zone to feel the positive impact of government.
The Campaign team comprising key present and past appointees of the state government, including the immediate past deputy governor-Emeka Sibeudu, legislators, party executives and stakeholders from the seven Local Government Areas constituting the senatorial zone were, according to him, to work assiduously to deliver all candidates of the party in the coming 2019 general election.
Assuring the team that APGA has all it takes to deliver more life-enhancing projects and programmes to Anambra citizens, the senatorial candidate pledged the full logistical backing of the party, all the candidates and their teeming supporters to facilitate their work and therefore charged them for undivided loyalty.
Ukachukwu reiterated that being from the wards and grassroots, they all know the voters as they are family members, neighbours, peers, age mates, and friends who they relate with and reach out to daily, live with .
According to a member of the campaign council, Chief Chris Amah from Umunze in Orumba South LGA, the team was to tirelessly mobilize potential voters from door to door to ensure landslide victory for all APGA candidates, especially Ukachukwu in the forthcoming polls.
He disclosed that more committees would soon be inaugurated down the line to the wards and polling units levels to ensure close-knit activities to see that all votes were guarded and accounted for on election days.
Anambra South senatorial zone is made up of seven council areas including Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo, Aguata, Ihiala, Orumba North and Orumba South.
