True to his word, former Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose, has reported to the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja. He arrived in company with Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike.
A man of drama, Fayose wore a black T-shirt emblazoned with ” EFCC, I’m here”, over a blue jeans trousers, and a bag that appeared to contain personal effects.
He is to answer questions on alleged N1.5 billion naira fraud while he was chief executive of Ekiti State.
He told journalists: “As I have promised, I have fulfilled my words that come 16th of October I will be at the EFCC office, my decision to come here is in line with my words.”
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, who was also there, said: ,“His excellency is going in hale and hearty, and we trust God that he will come out healthy, the government should know that the international community is watching.”
