More trouble for Kano’s Ganduje as new video emerges

The political headaches of Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, are worsening by the day. A second video has been released showing him collecting bundles of dollar notes and stashing them in his pockets and an envelope.
Worse, the State House of Assembly has commenced investigations into allegations of bribe-taking with, what observers say, is an attempt to initiate impeachment allegations against him.
The latest video posted on www.dailynigerian.com is the second in what the online newspaper says is a 15-part series.
The Kano government is alleging the video contained the cloned image of Ganduje, but many Nigerians, especially on social media, do not believe the government explanations.
The government has also threatened legal action against the newspaper and its publisher, Mr. Jaafar Jaafar.
