Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirants continued to fly in the air and pound the streets of state capitals wooing delegates for the party’s presidential primaries next week..
Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, was in Adamawa and Taraba States where he got the thumbs up following his promise of an all inclusive government.
To the delegates, his message was the same. He promised to bring in the best brains to run the country with him for a robust economy and a secure country.
Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Engr Haruna Manu, said Tambuwal is a detribalised Nigerian that could be counted on.
In Jalingo, Manu, representing Governor Darius Ishaku said, “if you are looking for a true Nigerian, you will get His Excellency Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. I know him and so many people who served with him in the House of Representatives can attest to that.
“In this country, what we need is a leader that can work 247 – a digital president that can work 247.
“I am happy with the quality of people – the crop of people I have seen around him and I am hopeful that with him and these people, Nigeria will be safe.
“We need a leader with a grasp of the economy to turn our economy around and also address our security challenges because security in this country has not faired any better. It’s getting even worse with killings, kidnappings and all that.”
