House Deputy Speaker, Lasun, to publicly declare Osun gubernatorial ambition

All arrangements have been concluded for the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Sulaimon Lasun Yussuff, to declare his governorship ambition under All Progressives Congress (APC) Thursday, 7th of June, 2018
He is to storm‎ APC secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State with his supporters in line with the party directive that each aspirant should pick a date to visit the  executive of the party and make public their intention before party supporters.
Few weeks back, the party called all APC aspirants for a meeting and resolved that each aspirant should appear before the party executive to signify their intention.
Deputy Speaker said that since the campaign has started he would do everything possible to get the ticket of the party to contest ‎in the September election.
Having gone round Osun State three times before now, he is ready to defeat any candidate that will contest with him at the primary election coming up in July.
Now that the party has lifted ban on campaign‎ in the state, Osun people would soon know the stuff Rt Hon Lasun Yusuf is made of, merit is what we should strive to achieve.
He however, appealed to Osun people not to allow mediocre persons  to deceive them‎ again and that it is better to work together and fight common enemies who are bent at destroying the state.
He is full of optimism that APC will win the September election if the right candidate is presented, adding that delegates should ensure that they vote for him.
