Buhari declares interest for second term

President Muhammadu Buhari has indicated his interest to seek re-election to the most exalted office in the land in 2019.
He gave the indication, out of earshot of journalists who attended the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but a principal officer of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, told journalists of the development.
A tweet from the Presidency also confirmed the development.
