Fayose bristles as Buhari, others attend Ganduje’s daughter, Ajimobi’s son marriage

President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu played prominent roles at the wedding ceremony of the children of Kano and Oyo state governors, Abdullahi Ganduje and Abiola Ajimobi.
Buhari stood for the groom, giving out N50,000 dowry to Ahmed Bola Tunubu, who represented the bride, but in Ekiti, Governor Ayo Fayose threw in a dampener.
On Twitter, he wrote: “I’m of the opinion that President Buhari should visit Dapchi where 110 school girls were abducted by Boko Haram.Kano is not far from Yobe State.
“The other time, he was in Nasarawa State, but didn’t visit its next door neighbour, Benue where over 70 people were killed by herdsmen.”
The wedding of Ganduje’s daughter, Hajiya Fatima, and Ajimobi’s son, Idris, attended by not less than 15 Governors, Senate President Bukola Saraki, among others took place yesterday at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, in Kano.
