Christians Only Material: The minister’s subtle enemy 4

Must read

By Festus Ndukwe.
Faith or depence on God through prayer provokes anointing or unction on a minister. This is what sets him apart from other ministers of God.
Still the same Today
You wonder how these ministers got their strong testimony. It is because each time they stand before men, they are proclaiming what they have heard, seen and touched. When they say, “God is a great provider,” they are proclaiming what they have experienced. They are saying that what Abraham, people of Israel, Elijah, etc. experienced can be experienced today.
Destiny Helpers
A minister may share his personal needs and struggles to his close friends. The minister does this because they are part of his journey in the fulfillment of God’s call upon his life.
Many times when God calls a man He raises friends to partner with him. It is not the minister that raises the friends. God raises them for him. The minister has no hand in it. He discovers that for no reason certain men and women begin to get drawn to him. They just love him and his work and want to give towards it. God did it for Jesus. God raised wonderful women to support Him with means. He still does it today, especially to His servants who are critical to fulfilling what is in His heart. I discovered that women play wonderful role in the support of God’s work. Many of them influence their husbands to do this. God bless women! And also men!
These friends become so close to the minister that if he is need and he does not inform them, they may be unhappy with him. It shows how close they are to him.

Caution
Sometimes it must not even be all the time the minister will inform his friends about his needs, much more speak to any person that comes his way. He must be sensitive and fear God. In fact, most times when God moves his friends to meet his needs, it is not him that tells them.
One of the reasons why God desires His ministers to depend and wait on Him, and not to go to men is because man, as he is constituted, is limited. God is unlimited.
There is this wrong assumption by some ministers that certain men have it anytime they go to them for help. How foolish to go to a man to ask for help to change your car at a time the man’s children could not resume school for lack of funds to pay fees! He will look at you with disdain. Many wonderful brothers and sisters with great hearts who have been giving for the cause of the kingdom feel harassed when some ministers keep inundating them with newsletters, telephone calls and frequent visits, telling them of one need or the other. Ministers, please stop it!
Doing God’s work has dignity. Let’s execute it with the dignity that it has. The God we serve is no man’s debtor.
