That a man has given his life to Christ does not mean CHRIST has been enthroned in his life. The battle has just begun. He has to yield completely to God to have his SELF dealt with. Not many have done this, including those in churches and Christian faith-based organizations, not to talk of those who do not know Christ at all.
What Disturbs Satan
Satan is not disturbed that there are many Christians or many churches or church-based groups. He is not moved that Christians are serving in government or in the market place. Satan even helps to have churches established. The only thing that gives him sleepless nights is when you begin to focus your prayer, teaching, preaching, and ministry on the SELF in man or ethroning the government of Jesus Christ where He is not known. It is when a church leader or member cries daily to have his SELF dealt with. It means that you want to pull down Satan’s kingdom and bring that of Christ. That is why he attacks those who do this, that is why he fights so that such people will not come to positions of influence anywhere in Church or the secular world.
Prosperity Gospel not Strategic
Satan has no problem with those that preach prosperity gospel or motivational messages. Though good, this is not strategic at all to the demolishing of his kingdom. For him, the more of such preachers that emerge in Church the better. What troubles Satan is when his seat of influence and operation which is SELF is being bruised.
If you want men to lose desire for position and power; if you want sanity in your church; if you want to kill unholy ambition in Church and its offshoots; if you want to begin to beg people to consider taking leadership position, and they run away, get their SELF demobilized. This is the only secret that will cure the malaise of politics and division in Church, and people breaking away to start their own ministries or build their own little kingdoms.
