By Festus Ndukwe.
Ministry or God’s work is not a business or company or conglomerate anyone can opt out from any time he wants, and start his own.
Businesses or companies that manufacture different products may be under the management of different CEOs. It is not like that with God’s work.
There may be many denominations or ministries but they all fall under one CEO, Jesus Christ. If you pull out of any and hop into another it will immediately register in the office of heaven that you have left. If our Heavenly CEO is not the one authorizing it the work you have gone to start will not be recognized by Him.
Any work or ministry that is started out of offence is not under the oversight of our CEO, Christ, and will not receive daily allocations from His office. Many ministers are struggling because of this. Even if you are unjustly treated by your leaders, do not leave except they throw you out. The Bible says, “If the ruler’s anger rises against you, don’t leave your place, for calmness puts great offenses to rest, Ecc.10:4. Remain there and take advantage of the rashness of difficult leaders to learn the patience of Christ. Don’t miss the opportunity. Otherwise you will have nothing to bless your generation.
Where many fail 3
No one has a right to start a work without checking with this CEO, Christ. If Christ receives the signal that you have left your place out of hurt or vain glory you are on your own.
Any time what you are doing is out of sync with the Master, it is no more His work. Christ was always doing what He saw His Father doing. Christ never sought His own will, Jn.5:30. How dare we think we can do our own work and heaven will accept it? Many of us think that because we are producing results and opening up branches means what we are doing is of God. Even if souls are saved in your ministry it is not because of you but for the sake of those souls. Show me a ministry that broke away whose church members are sanctified and becoming like Christ. May be, a few, not so much because of the leader but because on their own they took a decision to walk with Christ.
If a leader is unsanctified how can his followers be sactified? What did Jesus say? “And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth,”Jn.17:19. Any truth that we bring to men loses effect and power if our lives do not bear withness to it. People are sanctified by the word to the level that the preacher is sanctified. It is not about oratory, eloquence or logical presentation; it is about your life.
