Pre-requisites for Usefulness and Power 4

Gifts can be very deceitful. It deceives shallow Christians, especially innocent ladies. These innocent ladies easily get attracted and carried away by men with gifts only for them to get defiled when they get to the man.
Ladies, if a man is gifted, watch if he has character also. Find out his pedigree, his spiritual root, his history with God. Find out how many Delilahs he has defeated. If you throw your life to him or offer to serve as his secretary and he lacks the pedigree of holiness or history with God he will mess you up. It is nothing for these so called ministers to do whatever they like with you in their cars while they wait for the time to go for the next ministration. Mind you, they have done that to other ladies. You are not the first. Sisters, watch! I say to you again, watch!
Gifts have nothing to do with a man’s character. That is why a man can speak in tongues, raise the dead and still fall into adultery. There is something that causes adultery, jealousy and fighting. This is what this fire seeks to burn out.
There are other corruptions that are not seen, corruptions like self love, self pity, self promotion, desire to be seen, to be known, to be noticed and to be recognized, desire for vain glory and fame, etc. This fire also cleanses it out. Christ himself will sit over you as a refining fire and do it, Malachi 3:1-4. He does it to anyone that yields to Him in discipleship.
Anyone that does not yield himself to Him, Christ will not do it. He does not force anyone.
