A chieftain of the Reformed All Progressives (R-APC) and its Deputy National Chairman (South) Chief Sam Nkire, has described the leadership style of the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, as archaic and from two centuries ago.
He reiterated that the imposition of the former labour leader and Governor of Edo State was one of the driving grudges for exodus from the ruling party.
According to Chief Nkire, unless the APC reforms and comes down from its high horse to become a people -oriented party which welcomes people rather than driving people away, “the exodus will have no end”.
He added that he was almost certain that neither Comrade Oshiomhole nor the APC leadership would have the required humility to listen to the majority whose opinions hardly matter at the moment, going by known antecedents.
Nkire warned that in a matter of days it would be too late for the APC go close the floodgates to members passing through the R-APC to the People’s Democratic Party PDP and other political parties.
The R-APC chieftain therefore called on all the marginalized and excluded progressives still hoping for change in the APC to stop sitting on the fence but should join the R-APC in its fight for equal rights and justice.
